California Willow began the way the most meaningful things often do — quietly, at a kitchen table, between two people who believed in each other.

It started with a belief my late wife, Eleanor, once shared with me: women don't become less beautiful with age — they become more themselves. She saw what fashion had long overlooked: that women over fifty were being offered shapeless clothes and forgettable colors, as though elegance had an expiration date. She knew they deserved far better. And so our quiet sketches, drawn evening after evening, slowly became a brand.

We named it California Willow, after the willow tree — graceful, patient, and strong through every season. The willow bends through every storm and never breaks. Just like the women we are honored to dress.

After Eleanor passed away, I made her a promise: to continue what she started. Today, every piece we create still carries her belief that beauty only deepens with time.
